ERIC MEERKAMPER
Eric has been a partner at DECODE since 1999. He has led research, strategy and innovation projects for clients in various categories including: employee attraction and retention, confectionary, responsible gambling, alcohol, telcom, financial services, food and beverage, media and technology. Eric is a frequent speaker on attracting and retaining young employees and the co-author of DECODE'S www.decode.net/syndicated_studies.html From Learning to Work, a national syndicated study on campus recruitment. Prior to joining DECODE Eric worked for four years facilitating international business development between Canada and Latin America. Eric has also worked with the United Nations in Geneva and in a variety of business education and training capacities. Eric loves to travel and is fluent in French and Spanish (and speaks passable German). In addition, Eric is the founder of the "Spadina Bus" business association in downtown Toronto. Eric also serves on the boards of the www.dailybread.ca Daily Bread Food Bank and the www.socialinnovation.org Center for Social Innovation. Eric holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and an Honours BA in International Political Science, from the University of Western Ontario. He also has many theories about how to appropriately impersonate a chicken.
